The Fundamental Frequency of Structured Water

This unweighted tuning fork is calibrated to 417.60 Hz, the frequency we associate with the 4th state of water [H3O2]-, also known as structured water or "EZ Water".
Renaud Ruhlmann developed a study on the resonance frequencies of this "EZ Water" with the support of Prof. Gerald Pollack from the University of Washington.

What is the 4th state of water (H3O2)?

The concept was developed by Prof. Gerald Pollack (University of Washington), who describes a phase of water distinct from solid, liquid, and gas, formed in contact with certain surfaces—sometimes called "exclusion zone water" (EZ Water).

Important to know: this theory remains debated within the scientific community. The main reservations concern the limited replication of experiments by independent laboratories. We discuss this in more detail in our article dedicated to the relationship between seawater and EZ Water.

Where does the 417.60 Hz frequency come from?

• Molar mass of the 4th state of water (H3O2-): 35.02227512 g/mol
• Transposition of 73 octaves to the audible range: 417.60 Hz

Note: this frequency is close to the German Baroque pitch (around 415 Hz) used by composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach or Johann Pachelbel—a proximity that makes it an interesting choice for musicians exploring historical tuning forks. And knowing the public's fascination with the piece "Pachelbel's Canon," there is indeed a link between this tuning fork and the music of a great composer.
Furthermore, when calculating a natural scale based on Zarlino's calculations, starting from a frequency of 7.83 Hz (the Schumann resonance), we arrive at an A3 at 417.60 Hz. This allows us to say that this frequency has a link to the earth element in addition to the water element, further proof of its restructuring and information-grounding function.

What science says (and what it doesn't say yet)

Established:

• Frequency calculation using the Einstein-Planck equation is mathematically valid, starting from a given molecular mass.
• Mechanical vibrations have a generally demonstrated physiological effect (vibratory physiotherapy).

Not proven to date:

• The very existence of the 4th state of water as a distinct phase is a subject of scientific debate. With Naturasounds, we provide a physical tool to produce applications and testimonials. To date, after more than 500 tuning forks sold, we have only had positive and beneficial feedback from its use.
• No specific effect of this frequency on hydration, detoxification, or recovery has been established by a published clinical trial.

We present this tuning fork as a tool for sound exploration and well-being, not as a validated treatment.

"The first experiment we conducted with a therapeutic tuning fork was done completely by chance: following knee pain, we applied the [H3O2]- tuning fork and the sensation of pain disappeared immediately. We repeated this experiment on other people with other problems and the reported results are interesting: disappearance of a feeling of pain present for several years in the foot following a surgical operation; strong reduction in the feeling of pain from facial neuralgia, strong reduction in the feeling of shoulder pain when the person had already seen several osteopaths and physiotherapists, strong reduction in the feeling of chest pain when the person breathes (the sensation of pain went from 8/10 to 2/10 after one application).
