CBD Tuning Fork — 58.59 Hz
This weighted tuning fork is tuned to a frequency of 58.59 Hz, a frequency calculated from the molecular mass of cannabidiol (CBD), the non-psychoactive compound found in hemp.
No substance is used or released by this tuning fork: it is solely an acoustic vibration, with no chemical connection to CBD itself.
Molecular Identity of CBD
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Chemical formula | C21H30O2 |
| Molecular mass | 314.46 g/mol |
| Structure | Bicyclic (unlike THC, which is tricyclic) |
| Origin | Major phytocannabinoid of Cannabis sativa |
| Psychoactive effect | None |
| Legal status | Authorized in the vast majority of countries, including France |
CBD was isolated from cannabis in the late 1930s, and its chemical structure was elucidated in 1963. It is currently the subject of the only cannabis-derived medication approved for refractory epilepsy (Epidiolex®).
Where does the 58.59 Hz frequency come from?
This frequency is calculated from the molecular mass of CBD (314.46 g/mol), transposed into the audible range using our Einstein-Planck method, the same one used for all of our molecular tuning forks.
Necessary transparency: this calculation is a process specific to Naturasounds. To date, there is no evidence that a sound frequency reproduces the pharmacological effects of CBD or interacts with the endocannabinoid system. Trials are, however, ongoing.

What science says (and what it doesn't)
Established, for chemical CBD:
- Anxiolytic, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective properties demonstrated in several clinical studies.
- Favorable safety profile, few reported side effects.
What this tuning fork is not:
- It does not contain, diffuse, or release any trace of CBD or any cannabis derivative.
- It poses no risk of drug interaction and cannot, under any circumstances, cause a positive drug test.
- It is not a substitute for prescribed medical CBD treatment or professional psychological support.
Who is it for?
- People seeking deep relaxation at the end of the day or during periods of tension.
- Those curious about molecular frequencies who wish to explore an approach complementary to their wellness practice.
- People who wish to avoid any actual substance while exploring an approach inspired by CBD.
Frequently Asked Questions
