In Sāṃkhya philosophy, Bhūta or mahābhūta refers to one of the five gross elements. These five gross elements are: Space, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. They correspond to the five subtle elements that produced them.

- Akasha or the ether/vacuum.
- Vayu or the air.
- Tejas or fire.
- Āpas or water.
- Prithivī or the earth.

This album is conceived based on this philosophy in order to share the spirit of the elements with melodies of plants as well as organic instruments.
