Four exceptional events:

• First performance in France by ETHER SHIP ( pioneering artistic collective of sound xenolinguistics)
• First public presentation of the INFINITE VISION II installation (laser sculpture, crystals, smoke, sound)
• Preview screening of Greg Mallozzi's new documentary about Ether Ship
• First European public presentation of the legendary Serge #1 modular synthesizer

Tuesday, November 4th

10 AM > 5 PM – Antenna huts
With Camille D'Arc (Paris)

Collective creation of antenna-cabins from scrap wood, metal, fabric, string, and plastic. These cabins are designed as spaces for channeling, meditation, and vocal resonance, within a process of extrasensory perception. Vocal recordings and sound broadcasts will be made in the cabins to create a sound archive that will be broadcast on Radio HEAR (>workshop Hors limites the following week).
• Workshop requires registration

10 AM > 5 PM – Listening to the melody of plants
With Renaud Ruhlmann
Workshop: Introduction to bio-communication: how to communicate with plants through sound.
 Workshop (registration required)

2 PM > 10 PM – The film is being shown on a loop. The Ether Ship – Directed by Greg Mallozzi (USA) – 2025
on computer + headphones

5:30 PM > 6:30 PM – Conference / discussion. Artistic practices, contact interfaces & artificial intelligence: what's going on?
Starring Camille D'Arc, Lemon DeGeorge, Gabin Noir, Renaud Ruhlmann
Moderator: Joachim Montessuis

7pm > 10pm – Performative and immersive installation: INFINITE VISION II
The ultimate artistic research of laser and xenolinguistic art pioneer Willard Van De Bogart, created in collaboration with Gabin Noir in 2025. This bio-psychokinetic laser installation will be operated by Gabin Noir, assisted by Ignacio Ortega Duran (student at HEAR) and involved students.

8 p.m. – Performance THE ETHER SHIP

Artists in attendance

THE ETHER SHIP (USA)

In the presence of Lemon DeGeorge (San Francisco).

The Ether Ship will land its vessel for the first time in France since its creation by Willard Van De Bogart (1939-2025) and Lemon DeGeorge in Los Angeles in 1972. The Ether Ship is THE pioneering artistic collective of sonic xenolinguistics – a research on the languages of communication between dimensions, where sound becomes a messenger between visible and invisible worlds.

Ether Ship's performances blend electronic music, psychotronics, feedback, modulated voices, and laser light architectures in a quest to reveal the cosmic dimension of sound. Their research goes beyond mere sound art; it stems from an intuitive science of connection. Several pioneering and unique artists will join them, such as Z'ev and Will Jackson, whose legendary modular synthesizer, the Serge #1, will be presented for the first time. Will Jackson used it in 1975 on the Greenpeace ship to communicate with endangered whales.

Camille D'Arc (Fr)

Camille D'Arc is a multimedia poet living in Paris. She creates an archive at Codex DXDA with intermedia iconography, which is then freely disseminated through exhibitions, performances, concerts, and publications in international performance and poetry journals. She installs her cabins in the studios where she lives, spaces of channeling, vectors for the creation of new languages and visualizations taking various forms, which she concentrates during her public performance appearances. She uses all existing media and all dimensions of her body to create her poetic archive, which she dates and names with mantras, plays on words rooted in current events, her origins, and a mise en abyme of politics and spiritualities that she intertwines. Sound and voice are her primary vehicles for creation and transformation. She makes this experience her working tool as a psychiatric nurse on the Adamant – a floating care center on the Seine. She leads various workshops there, including music and relaxation to channel limiting emotions in the recreation of life.

Gabin Noir (Fr/Ch)

Artist and archivist, creator of the Centre for Exotic Archives and Research – CARE.

He began his research in the early 1990s at the heart of the cyberpunk movement, and in the 2000s he focused on the links between avant-garde art and metapsychics. Gabin Noir has participated in collective performances involving the induction and counter-induction of altered states of consciousness, and he has explored this field in various forms (performances, publications, radio broadcasts, films, lectures, and exhibition organization). This led him, in 2023, to create CARE to protect and promote a body of archival material on marginal and singular knowledge (experimental art and exotic sciences, research on consciousness, and exploration of human potential).

Renaud Ruhlmann (Fr)

Artist and creator of Natura Sounds, specializing in plant biocommunication, will present his equipment and protocols. Renaud Ruhlmann, a researcher in electrophysiology and sound therapy, offers introductory workshops on the resonant frequencies of living organisms through interspecies biocommunication. Plants communicate with us through vibrational sounds that we will explore using simple biotechnological tools with almost limitless applications.
